Lisa is an expert baby whisperer (newborn and family photographer), whose specialty is photographing newborns, babies, maternity and family. Not weddings, not commercial, not branding – just beautiful families.

Photography is her passion and she’s taken the time to get specialist training from top newborn photographers like Lorna Kirkby, and attend world class events like The Baby Summit (a specialist newborn and family photographer conference hosted by Kelly Brown). She never stops learning and continually strives to learn something new every day, as she tells her own children, “your brain is never full!”.

This means she’s up to date with the current safe ways of posing newborns, and how to create composites for those images where it’s much safer for baby to be posed separately. Like with your beautiful fur children.

Lisa is fully immunised for whooping cough, flu and Covid19 – as required to ensure she is safe to be around new babies and children. She has completed a first aid “Caring for kids” course.

She is an accredited professional photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) since 2017 with full public liability insurance business. She also has a police check and the DECS “Working with Children” Clearance as required by law from 1st July 2019.

Most importantly she has been photographing newborns and families for nearly 10 years, and she’s not going to disappear into the night anytime soon. There are just way too many gorgeous babies arriving earth side daily and young families grown way to quickly, that need to have their first portraits captured.
